\nLa scintilla di questa sera spero che illumini un po’ i tempi bui di questo periodo. E’ True Faith dei New Order, gruppo inglese a cavallo nel suo splendore tra gli anni ’70 (ancora Joy Division) e gli anni ’90.
\nLa storia del gruppo \u00e8 abbastanza sfortunata, con il cantante (mentre erano Joy Division) che si suicida prima della tourn\u00e9e in America e la ragazza tastierista che deve ritirarsi per stare dietro alla figlia piccola con problemi di salute. <\/p>\n

Cominciai a sentire questa canzone dal programma DJ Television (ve lo ricordate su Italia 1…con Claudio Cecchetto?).
\nSubito il video mi incurios\u00ec. Rincorsi la canzone con il videoregistratore (un vecchio Video2000 con le cassette che si potevano registrare su due lati, come quelle musicali!!!), fino a quando non riuscii a registrarla per poterla rivedere e riascoltare.<\/p>\n

Nella mia interpretazione del video c’\u00e8 l’eterna lotta dell’uomo contro il male con una divinit\u00e0 che sta a guardare abbastanza indifferente, ma che cambia il mondo a suo piacimento.
\nHo visto il gruppo suonare ormai un po’ vecchiotti al Traffic Festival a Torino e devo dire che, nonostante l’et\u00e0, non sono stati niente male!!<\/p>\n

Godetevi questo video e, a questo punto, ascoltatevi tutta la raccolta “Substance 1987” che include i brani pi\u00f9 belli della gruppo (compreso qualcuno degli ex Joy Division).<\/p>\n
